Rab Nawaz Khan

Rab Nawaz Khan was a famous figure in the history of Waziristan. He was borne in the village of Ibrahim Khel Bannu. His father's name was Mirza Ali Khan. He was strong man of beautiful bright face & inspiring personality. In 1936 he joined Faqir Epi's Jihad movement against British. He first started attacks against enemy troops from Baran but after some time the government forced his family to catch him and he migrated to Tochi North Waziristan and start living in Spalga. From there he started guerrilla attacks on British army in Bannu and also took part in regular fights against against British. Faqir Epi was much inspired of his bravery and technical mind and therefore called him Jarnel (General). After freedom he was still attached to Gurwek (Faqir Epi's famous centre for Jihad). He died In march 1984.
