Usage Instructions

  1. Download the file "PashtoTextEditor.zip" using the link above
  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to any suitable location on your hard disk
  3. Double click on "TextEditor.jar" to run the application

Notes:

  • You need to have "Java Runtime Environment (JRE)" installed on your computer in order for the application to work. (http://java.sun.com)
  • Your default system fonts are used. No additional fonts will be installed.
  • The application is free from any spy-ware, ad-ware or mal-ware.

This site uses the font "Pashto Kror Asiatype" that can be installed from BBC Pashto website. Similarly, the few urdu articles can be read using the font "Asia Type Naskh" from the BBC Urdu website.
